1. Eligibility and documents
The main driver must be at least 21 and have held a valid driving licence for 12 months or more. At pickup, present your licence, a passport or national ID, and a payment card in the driver's name. Drivers under 25 pay a young-driver surcharge. We may refuse a rental if documents cannot be verified.
2. Prices, taxes and fees
Prices in the checkout currency include the vehicle, standard insurance cover and the stated mileage allowance, plus VAT where due. Extra fees may apply for a young driver, an additional driver, a child seat, out-of-branch delivery, fuel difference, late return, cross-border use and excessive cleaning.
3. Security deposit
A refundable deposit is blocked on the driver's card at pickup; the amount depends on the vehicle group and is shown before confirmation. It is released within 14 days of return, less charges for damage, fuel, fines or late return.
4. Vehicle use
- Drive only on public roads and lock the vehicle when unattended.
- No smoking, hazardous goods, or animals outside a carrier.
- No towing, racing, driving lessons, subletting or undeclared drivers.
- Cross-border travel needs our written approval and cross-border cover.
5. Damage, fines and liability
The driver pays traffic fines, tolls, parking and impound charges plus an administration fee per case. Damage above the insurance excess is charged. Damage from prohibited use, driving under the influence or an undeclared driver is not insured. Report accidents, theft and breakdowns to us and the police within 24 hours.
6. Pickup and drop-off
The vehicle is collected and returned at the booking branch during opening hours, unless delivery was agreed. It is handed over with a condition report and fuel level and must come back on time with the same fuel level. Late returns are charged per started rental day.
