Self-guided e-bike routes

Kyiv routes, measured before you ride

Each route card below repeats the same five facts in the same order: distance, ride time, battery range, stop count and terrain. Read them side by side and you can pick a loop for the hours you actually have, not the hours a brochure promises.

  • Terrain is stated plainly. Flat riverbank, cobbled Podil lanes and the steep climb to Pechersk are graded separately, so nobody plans a loop around a hill they did not expect.
  • Battery range is quoted per route. The figure is the range you can expect with the motor on a normal assist level, not a best-case laboratory number.
  • Stops are counted, not listed as filler. Attraction stops are places you can lock the bike and walk in, with the usual opening hours noted in the route summary.

Package, deposit and damage waiver are published as separate lines. Nothing is labelled free. The 10-minute handover briefing at the depot covers helmets, locks and the offline map before you leave.

Five routes, measured before you reserve

Every line below lists distance, ride time, battery range and stop count in the same order, so you can compare a 40-minute loop against a half-day climb without guessing.

Battery range by route

How much charge each route actually uses

These figures come from our own rides on the standard 48 V 15 Ah pack. Every route below keeps a reserve large enough to climb back to the depot without pedalling a dead bike.

Measured at assist level 2, rider weight 75 kg, calm wind, dry asphalt.
Route Distance Ride time Battery used Return reserve Range status
Podil and Riverfront Loop 14 km 1 h 10 min 22% 78% Comfortable
Old Kyiv Hill Ring 19 km 1 h 45 min 34% 66% Comfortable
Pechersk Terrace Run 23 km 2 h 05 min 41% 59% Comfortable
Trukhaniv Island Crossing 27 km 2 h 30 min 49% 51% Plan a stop
Holosiiv Forest Greenway 33 km 3 h 00 min 61% 39% Plan a stop
Obolon Lakeside Spin 38 km 3 h 30 min 72% 28% Second pack advised

Rides over 32 km can take a second pack from the depot for the day. The spare pack is billed as its own line on the receipt, never folded into the route price. Distances and timings update each season; check the route ledger before you reserve.

Before you ride

Helmet, age and traffic rules

Three points we repeat at every handover. Read them before you commit a route to your booking.

  • 01

    Helmet on, strap closed

A helmet comes with every rental and must stay on for the whole ride, including bike lanes and park paths. Staff check the fit and strap before you leave the depot.

  • 02

    Riders aged 16 and over

Riders under 18 need an adult present at handover to sign the rental agreement. One rider per vehicle, no passengers on the rear rack or deck.

  • 03

    Follow Ukrainian traffic rules

Our e-bikes and scooters are treated as bicycles: ride in bike lanes where they exist, keep to the right on shared roads, and walk the vehicle through pedestrian zones and Kyiv's crowded old-town streets.
